Blues is a Woman combines live music and theater -- and wine -- to celebrate influential female blues artists from Ma Rainey to Bonnie Raitt. This one-night only event includes a post-show reception with wine donated by local wine critic Wolfgang Webber. During the reception, you can mill about and share feedback with the show's talented female blues musicians. During this latest show from singer Pamela Rose's Wild Women of Song project, the ensemble cast will transport you all the way back to the beginnings of the blues, merging storytelling, projected imagery and a live concert at San Francisco's Custom Made Theatre.
