As their stories collide across time and distance, each learns a great deal about herself in the context of changing times. Full of soulful tunes, Bridges: A New Musical is an empowering, inspiring story that explores our country's past and present -- how far we've come, how far we have yet to go, and the bridges that must be crossed along the way. Berkeley Playhouse brings the world premiere of the new work, based on an original concept by Founding Artistic Director Elizabeth McKoy, to the Julia Morgan Theater.
