Most great children's stories started out as a story for the author's own children. A.A. Milne created the world of Pooh for his son, (the real) Christopher Robin. L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz started out as a bedtime story. Likewise, Ian Fleming wrote Chitty Chitty Bang Bang specifically for his little one. Since then, millions of children have experienced the wacky thrills of Fleming's tall tale, thanks to the original novel and the manic 1968 movie musical. Now, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang reaches a new generation with Bay Area Children's Theatre's special musical version for young audiences. Sing along as young heroes, Jeremy and Jemima, take on the wicked Vulgarians and their Baron, who want to steal Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, the amazing flying car.
