Hey, Hey, LBJ! is his firsthand account of what he saw and wrote as an army combat correspondent in Vietnam. In 1966, Kleinberg arrives in Southeast Asia a supporter of the war, but each passing day brings more doubt, death and displays of apocalyptic violence. Kleinberg, who went on to two celebrated careers after the war -- the first as an editor at the San Francisco Chronicle, the second as a talented stand-up comedian -- brings an incredible energy and authenticity to what The Washington Post called a "polished and moving a piece of theater."
