This world premiere fuses a world music concert experience with a theatrical story of love and madness that bounces back and forth between ancient Jerusalem and modern-day Tel Aviv. Drawing from the ancient Hebrew text the Song of Songs, which celebrates love and intimacy, Love Sick follows one woman's journey through a relentless and fervent love affair that threatens to destroy her and her life. This musical play is directed by Broadway veteran Christopher Renshaw and stars Ofra Daniel and Ali Paris, the latter of whom has toured with Alicia Keys and Sting, and who also plays the Qanun, a 14th-century instrument that only a few dozen people on the planet play.
