Mother's Milk at The Marsh Berkeley

Mother's Milk

The Marsh Berkeley
2120 Allston Way Berkeley

With his mother fighting a losing battle with cancer, a young black man must navigate through the harsh realities of life in order to find his way back home in Mother's Milk. Blending together traditional blues with gospel classics, playwright Wayne Harris spins a powerfully moving tale about life, death and the Baptist Church - not to mention the best banana pudding recipe ever. Set during the backdrop of the civil rights movement, this drama features original music composed by Randy Craig and John McArdle. Get ready to fill your heart with song when this 2015 San Francisco International Fringe Festival "Best of Fringe" winner returns to The Marsh Berkeley just in time for Mother's Day.
